We are an independent wrestling club where all athletes are welcome.  We provide the top training to our young wrestlers with the option to travel to some of the best tournaments in Ohio as well as out of state.  We are not affiliated with any schools and/or other teams.

RIGGS WRESTLING ACADEMY

  • Practices: begins march 25, 2024 - Monday and Wednesday 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

  • CLUB Fee: April $80, drop-in $10 each practice, per athlete, cash only

  • Brown Family Wrestling Room

    located in the lower level of the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex: by the exercise equipment, go down the stairwell that leads to an all glass recreation room, take a right and a quick left down a long hallway that leads you to the wrestling room

  • participants: Youth, Middle School, and high school (3 year experience required)

  • Freestyle & FolkStyle Wrestling: bring water to practice

We provide top training and high percentage technique, with our Elite coaching staff, to our wrestlers.

We aim to help your athlete with discipline, hard work, and positive life skills.

Parents, please do not interfere with coaching during practice.  Our coaches are here to help teach and guide your wrestler(s).  We appreciate your cooperation.


Jim Owens

the legacy of Jim Owens and Dave Riggs will continue at the university of mount union. We are very grateful for Jim Owens friendship, guidance, and vision to help young athletes. Thank you to all the coaches who assisted in helping the wrestlers. Special thank you to Austin Phillips, Nick Hanan, Sam White, Brian Dolph, and Ryan Riggs for their valuable time coaching.
